Hi! I’m Will Sparks, and I’m running for VP Admin!
 
I’ve been President of Drop The Puck for Mental Health, one of UBC’s largest student-run charities and raised over $215,000 for the Canadian Mental Health Association. My studies in environmental policy equip me to shape a greener AMS & UBC.
WHAT I WILL DO:
  • Keep the AMS and UBC climate-accountable
    • Promoting specific and measurable climate and sustainability goals
  • Build upon club infrastructure
    • Club room renovations and additional club locker space
  • Ensure lightning-fast registration and booking
    • Continue recent progress through staff increase and budget allocation
HOW I WILL DO IT:
  • Critical experience as President of Drop the Puck for Mental Health, one of UBC’s largest student-run fundraisers, raising over $215,000 for the Canadian Mental Health Association.
  • Strong background in climate & environmental policy, as a student in Natural Resource Conservation and recipient of the Dave Currey Award.
  • Valuable campus connections through UBC Administration, Athletics, Student Clubs and Greek Life.
